The 32614-2G is an upgrade of Bosch's classic model 32614. For the most part, this is the same as its predecessor, which in this case is a good thing. It's easy to see why this drill was chosen as a 2006 "Best Buy" by a leading consumer magazine. The primary difference is the addition of Bosch's Bluecore battery technology, which offers 50% longer battery life and a 30-minute charge time. As a class, Bosch Compact Tough drills are designed to offer extreme durability in a small package. The 32614-2G delivers tons of power in a compact size that makes it easier to maneuver in tight spaces than many other drills in its class. At a relatively slim 4.2 pounds and with an ergonomic, soft-grip handle, this is a very comfortable drill to use. The Bosch-built unibody power train that contains the motor, gearbox, and clutch in one contiguous unit for durability and the best alignment possible. That and the Durashield housing, made from a flexible ABS nylon blend, makes the tool extremely resistant to damage, including multiple 1-story drops in Bosch's tests. A steel-reinforced collar protects the tool even when it is dropped on the chuck. I really wanted one of those yellow drills but the cost was so high. I went blue and am not dissapointed. Great tool and I love it! Battery stays charged for a long time and re-charges very quickly. Great Buy. It only took a short time to get it into my hands.

Drill works great right out of the box. Be sure to get Bosch drill bits for drilling. My DeWalt bits don't fit properly.

I absolutely love this tool. I use it all the time and I can't say enough good about it. Its powerful, the batteries last forever (All day of continuous use). The balance is great, and the motor has huge torque (it was actually pulled from my grip once). The only complaint is that the bit holder can't actually hold any normal bits because of its weird design (it can only hold little bitty ones). But since I only use Phillips and square drive screws and I have a dual bit, its not a big deal for me.
I am so impressed that I am going to replace my new Maytag dishwasher(one of the worst I have ever had - I'll never trust Consumer Reports again)with a Bosch (even though Consumer Reports gave it a good review).
Every Bosch tool I have has exceeded my expectations to the point now that if I need a tool, and Bosch makes it, I will buy it from Bosch.

I've owned this drill for 2 years, and have used it for a variety of household projects (I've built my basement, washroom and outdoor fencing with this thing). Other reviews will point out the power and durability of this unit..which is fantastic for it's size..but more importantly, and often not addressed, is the grip mold & hand fatigue. This is where it excels. From the many drills I've used throughout the years this is by far the best I've encountered in this case. Sweaty palms will not be such an issue during a hard days work. The grip itself perfectly fits into my medium-sized hands. It's really a joy to work with. The warranty is also something to think about (not that I've even needed it), but kudos to Bosch for backing up their product.
I'm sure you'll enjoy it for many years.

Bought one, drill wobbled. Returned and replacement wobbles as well. Hard to drill a hole when the bit is wobbling in a 1/2 inch circle.
