This Tool is everything it claims to be, and so much more! August 23, 2010 Leonard Smith (Sacramento, CA.) Hello...
I purchased this product to replace an old one that just died after many years of good use. This unit turned out to exceed all expectations, the battery life was long, it lost no torque as the battery power went down, and the clutch works great as when you've reached that torque selected- the driver cuts power till the next time you you press the control button keeping you from stripping screw heads, and/or threads. I've used this tool not only on small projects (computers/printers), but larger home improvement projects as well. It is built very sturdy, it has a 2 speed setting that loses nothing in torque, and the placement of the power controls are very easy to reach, and comfortable as you aren't stretching to uncomfortable positions to operate the unit. The quick release chuck is very easy for quickly changing tips as you can pop one out, and securely pop the next tip into place in 2 seconds.
I would recommend this tool to everyone, and no serious tool box should be without this product!

Good all around tool July 1, 2010 Roger Baer (Palmdale, CA) Bought the Milwaukee mainly for doing electronic assembly.
Pros:
Overall a really good product
Plenty of power
Really like the auto stop clutch, as it is very accurate.
Lithium Batteries are a huge plus over older models
Cons:
Ergonomics are pretty horrible. The design of this type of tool really hasn't changed much in 20 years and needs an update. I don't get the handle that doesn't fold to a full 90 degree angle. The angle it stops at is very awkward to work with in my opinion. Overall the tool really should be about 30% smaller by now if it were following the trend in drill design. Overall length is way too long to be comfortable doing assembly work and there are no contours in the shape to fit your hand at all. Next time i am going to try the Panasonic as it looks like it has a little better ergonomics to it.
Milwaukee Screwdriver April 22, 2010 Lee Drake (Virginia Beach Va) Outstanding screwdriver, only complaint did not come with it's own case and no number one
phillips bits came with it. Use it to take apart small electronics and drill holes in
wood and plastic at my job.
Awesome Product, Long Life Batteries, Quick Charging April 1, 2010 Anthony L. Bowers I have owned several electric screwdrivers in the past. All have had big limitations. Typical problems were:
- didn't hold a charge for very long during use
- would loss their charge during uses
- the batteries would eventually die and cost too much to replace, if you could even find them
- would not have enough power
- power would not be adjustable enough
- would be awkward to hold
- would take too long to charge
- slow turning
I got this unit on Amazon over a year ago and have not experienced any of the above problems. Quite the opposite. It is one of the best made power tools (I guess you can call this a 'power' tool, he he) that I have ever used.
It has plenty of power and can be finely adjusted. I have never timed it, but I think a battery charges in less than 30 minutes, well before the other battery in the unit will run down. One very neat thing - it has a 5 step gauge to let you know how much battery life is left in the battery while you are using it!
It's been awhile since I purchased it, so I am not positive, but I think it only came with one screwdriver head, a phillips. I would have liked for it to have came with a set of 3 phillips and 3 flat screwheads, of different sizes. That and the price are the only downsides. It is a bit pricy for an electric screwdriver.
Course, you can purchase a very nice Milwaukee screwhead set for about $10, which I have now done. So, I now have all that I need.
And, yes... as several people have said. 'How did I do ever do without this item?' I use it all the time.
I highly recommend it.
great battery screwdriver March 31, 2010 eleczap (lancaster, pa.) This battery screwdriver is the best I have ever owned.
Beat's out sear's and skill's screwdrivers and this
Milwaukee screwdriver has a faster recharger then most.
