We searched the web over, we searched the stores over, we found EXACTLY what we wanted right here. Best Price for our needs. But a surprise, the pump arrived much sooner than the estimated arrival date. We were very excited about the order time. Ordered Thursday night and received Monday morning. Installed immediately with NO problems. A half horse larger pump made all the difference with the pool, returns, fountains, etc... We are VERY pleased. Not everything goes this sweet.

When we built our inground pool in 1996 it was installed with a Jacuzzi pump. This pump did a great job but finally quit working in 2007. I ordered a Hayward pump as I could not get the Jacuzzi pumps any more. We installed a Hayward Superpump 1 1/2 HP #SP2510X15. It has just been over 3 years and we are now having problems with the pump. Sadly, I'm dissappointed that this pump only lasted 3 years. Called the manufacturer and they did not seem to care about their products. I believe we will be looking for a different manufacturer for our next pump.

After operating my Hayward Perflex EC-65 Pool Filter for the past 10 years, the motor finally needed replacing. After searching numerous websites & motor reviews, I decided on this model, the Hayward Super Pump SP2610X15 1.5 HP Pool Pump. After deciding on which pump/motor to buy, the next order of business was to decide where to buy it from. After another lengthy internet search I found the best pricing to be from Amazon.com. They were selling it new for $312.00 with free shipping. I placed my order and found the unit delivered to my door two days later.
The plumbing hookup was an exact match to the old pump and went in perfectly and quickly. The electric hookup was only slightly different since I was changing from a two stage motor to this single stage motor and was accomplished in about 30 minutes. The old pump had a Hayward 1 1/6 HP, 2 speed motor whereas this new pump had the Hayward 1 1/2 Hp single speed motor.
I couldn't be happier with my choice. The force of the pump is substantially more that the old one and does a much better job of moving the water and keeping the pool crystal clear. I only run the pump for 10 hours a day from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm which is more than enough and saves on electricity too.
Before ordering this pump I had reservations on switching to a single speed pump after using a 2 speed pump for do many years. Well the 2 speed pump was ALWAYS running 24 hours a day, about 10 hours on high speed and 14 hours on low speed. This new single speed pump does a better job than the old pump running only 10 hours a day then being off for the other 14 hours. I highly recommend this pump/motor combination for anyone looking for a replacement unit for the Hayward filter system.
