The compact Multi-Max makes for comfortable, efficient work. View larger. | Ideal for Cutting, Grout Removal, and Scraping The Multi-Max comes with a range of accessories that allow you to complete a wide variety of cutting, grout removal, and scraping applications. To start, the kit includes one 1/8-inch grout removal blade, ideal for wall and floor grout elimination. The blade's carbide grit quickly and neatly removes old grout, and its 90-degree edge allows access in corners. The Multi-Max Kit also comes with two 3/4-inch wood/metal flush-cut blades featuring Bi-Metal teeth for strength when cutting non-ferrous metal and wood. The kit also includes a 3/4-inch wood flush-cut blade that has a 1-1/4-inch depth of cut and is perfect for flush or plunge cutting in wood, plastic, drywall, and other soft materials. Additionally, the kit comes with a drywall/soft wood blade that neatly plunges and cuts and is great for longer straight cuts. The Multi-Max even has a rigid scraper blade, which is best-suited for removing stuck vinyl flooring, carpeting, and carpet padding. It has a scraping edge on three sides and is offset for flush surface scraping. Compact Design for Easy Handling in Tight Corners Lightweight and compact, the Multi-Max is a pleasure to handle and hold. Its comfortable design minimizes wrist and hand fatigue, even during intricate, prolonged work. It also accesses tight corners and narrow spaces that conventional saws and sanders simply can't reach. Easy to Operate and Store Operating the Multi-Max is easy, low-noise, and reliable. Simply plug it in and you're ready to go. The Multi-Max comes in a blow-molded case for easy storage and portability. And with a long, 10-foot cord, you won't have to worry about getting tangled up in cumbersome extension cords. dremel multi-max is the "MAN" July 16, 2010 satisfied !!!! I always wanted the rockwell multi-tool same thing as the dremel multi-max, but when i saw that dremel finally came out with it iv trusted dremel for many tools before and the 2 year warranty was an extra, the famous dremel speed setting was an extra also. The speed control allows you to have good control and outcome on any project, corded is constant power, unlike battery losing power.
I bought for my father for ofcourse fathers day and not only was he happy but the bathroom project has been no sweat and easy now.
My best friend also got it and we used it on an elctrical installation project and actually cut though a 2x4 which does not say it can do but let me tell you, it did the job. highly recommended, definitely stealing it from my dads shelf once in a while. great buy since this kit from amazon was the only one that had such many accessories.

Great Product July 3, 2010 Richard Mitchell (Okeechobee, Florida) There are several Multi tools on the market. this is one of the most affordable and works great!
Gotta have tool. May 18, 2010 M. Kimball (Bonner Springs, KS, US) I bought this after a friend recommended it. I used it to remove vinyl linoleum that's been glued down for 20 years. Worked like advertised. I recommend this model because of the longer cord.
Pretty neat tool April 7, 2010 C. Daugherty (Virginia) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have only used this tool 5-6 times since I bought it, but I'm surprised at how useful it is. Just last night I used the scraper attachment to take old tile off a bathroom floor. Then I used the wood cutting attachment to trim the bottom of a door frame when I was putting in some thicker flooring. I really haven't run into any negatives with this tool. Before I bought this, I had read several reviews stating that the attachments had to be continually tightened and a few that implied the cutting tools didn't work that well. I haven't had any issues with attachments vibrating loose, and I ran the scraper for 20+ mins at over 3/4 max speed. I also think that some people might've had trouble with the cutting attachments if they tried to force the tool to cut instead of just allowing the tool to do the cutting. In any case, I'm very happy with the purchase.
