Amazon.com Review This Sawzall is an effective cordless version of Milwaukee's famous corded reciprocating saw. It has a 1-inch stroke with a variable-speed trigger that provides 0 to 2,000 spm. It also features Milwaukee's quick-locking, steel blade-clamp system for fast and easy tool-free blade changing. As a cordless saw, it's great for electricians, plumbers, contractors, demolition experts, or anyone else who wants the freedom to cut through wood or metal quickly without being tethered by a cord. This saw cuts quickly and relatively smoothly for a reciprocating saw, and the 2 amp hr battery offers plenty of run time for most jobs. While the cordless Sawzall does seem to have a relatively low level of vibration, we wish it had a soft-cushion grip on the rear handle. That said, this is unquestionably a tough, effective saw, capable of most any job a corded reciprocating saw can do. --Brian Trinen

milwaukee sawzall November 29, 2008 Chad J. Haffner This is a poorly built product I am on my third one and am still not happy
The name, "Milwaukee Sawzall" says it all! March 14, 2007 Mark F. (Branson, MO USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
As an electrician I've used many brands of reciprocating saws and can say in all honesty that the Milwaukee Sawzall beats them all, HANDS DOWN! This thing is one of the first tools I grab to head out to a job. You can cut a lot of conduit on a charge. This is a great price for the "tool only" deal. I already had plenty of Milwaukee 18 volt batteries/chargers so this made it really affordable. Thanks Amazon!

I bought this because I thought it was less expensive than other sites, only to get it and realize that it came with nothing else. My husband loves it.

Unlike DeWalt, Milwaukee used the same design of their electric saw to build a cordless. The early model had less than spectacular quick-change clamp but that was remedied quite nicely.

Just want to say that it's great Milwaukee offers the "tool only" so we don't have to keep purchasing batteries and chargers. I've purchased 2 milwaukee cordless tools with 2 batteries and a charger each, and then was able to purchase this saw and a work light without those items. So now I have a bettery for each tool and a backup charger, and they all fit in one case....beautiful!!!P.S....I've had the 18 volt drill, circle saw, sawzall and light for well over a year now and use them heavily , no problems, excellent tools.
