Amazon.com Review Light as a feather and mean as a junkyard dog, DeWalt's 18-gauge brad nailer is a heck of a tool. We like the fit and feel of it, and DeWalt wins points from us for putting low-nail indicators on the side and the top of the magazine. The sliding depth adjustment is fantastic: just unlock it with your index finger, slide the adjustment with your other hand, and you're ready to fire. Like DeWalt's other nail guns, this model has a nice plus in the 360-degree swivel exhaust cap that directs the flow away from you. Great pad, too--it didn't mar anything to which we introduced it. We like it. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Great Value February 18, 2008 W. Link 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have used this item for several weeks. Built cabinets, installed molding and trim. Never jammed or misfired. Fired right through double thickness of 3/4" plywood with 80 psi Worked great with 5/8", 1", 1 1/4" and 2" brads. Wished I had bought this years ago.
Worth every penny November 12, 2007 Steve A. Fondren (LaGrange, Ga.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have only done a couple of projects so far, but already know I am going to really enjoy having the DeWalt Brad Nailer. The adjustments are easy to change depending on the project. It makes the job almost fun when it used to be dreaded. The gun is light weight and easy to handle. The directional exhaust is a plus. Brad loading is quick and easy. I can complete jobs quicker and with higher quality than ever before. The price has been reduced since I made my purchase which is just my luck. Looking forward to seeing how the product performs over time with additional home projects.
Good Tool October 17, 2007 Robert N. Sykes Jr. The nailer works well, and I have no complaints about the performace. It is however much larger than a brad nailer needs to be.
Very Good!!! October 14, 2007 A. Worthington (Vancouver, BC) Nailer works great. Recently rebuilt some cheap drawers that were falling apart and nailer was a great help. Takes a bit of getting comfortable with depth adjuster dial but once you get it it is great. Never jammed, always delivered. Very happy, would recommend.
DeWalt Brad Nailer - Great Product! October 10, 2007 Winford Rister (Chipley, Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
DeWalt D51238K 5/8-Inch to 2-Inch 18-Gauge Brad Nailer This was a replacement for my old brad nailer, which has been somewhat of a challenge. Not so for this DeWalt nailer. It has the perfect feel, is easy to load and use, and has worked flawlessly. I needed the full 2 inch capacity, as I use it for all types of fastening. I highly recommend this tool for the professional or hobbyist.
