Amazon.com Product Description
This variable speed cordless angle drill from Makita is compact, well balanced, and lightweight for easy maneuverability. It has an electric brake that stops the chuck quickly, and an overload protector to help prevent motor burnout. This model outperforms competitive cordless angle drills at least 2 to 1 in drilling and driving applications. It produces a no-load speed of 0-800 rpm, and 44 in./lbs. of torque. This kit includes drill, one 12-volt battery, battery cover, charger and case.

Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars It should have 2 speeds switch.   July 9, 2008
Valery Koyfman (S F Bay)
As the Contractor, doing kitchen cabinet installation and refacing, I bought this Angle Drill as a subsidiary tool for hard to reach places and narrow opening door installation. This Drill is good to drill the holes, but it's very hard to use it as the screw driver, since it is very hard to control the driving speed. The Makita manufacturer should add 2-speed switch to this Drill-Driver as Dewalt did.

5 out of 5 stars When small is better   July 9, 2006

I am replacing nails that were used to secure the boards on my deck. The nail line is directly under the bottom 2x4 of the side rail with barely 4 inches of clearance. Viola, this drill with a stubby bit and a 2 1/2 inch deck screw makes a difficult job easy.

5 out of 5 stars Solid right angle drill   March 20, 2006

Pros: Makita drill has plenty of torque, nice balance and really good quality feel, very good battery life, solid construction compared to its competitors

Con: only complaint is I wish it came with a backup battery
