No Stars October 14, 2008 Herbert C. Stoops (Renton,WA,USA) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I would like to review this for you but I never got the item, I am still waiting, after all it has only been a month and two days since I ordered it. I just gave it one star because it was required.
Hope you only use one size bit April 17, 2008 Robert B. Tollefson (Bozeman, MT United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
A couple of things, this thing is large, my hands are on the small side but it was a grasp to get my hand around this tool. My biggest issue was that changing bits was a serious hassle, when I need a close quarter drill, it's because of a limited space, so I might be changing bits several times while I am using this drill for the application that it is intended. Changing bits with this thing is a nightmare, half of the chuck is covered up by this plastic shroud so if I am going from a 1/4" driver to a 1/8" drill and I can't hold onto the lower part of the chuck then I am using the chuck key only to go from 1/4" to 1/8", it takes a long time and the fact that the trigger/switch is always right there makes for a problem for safe use, it makes changinging bits a real hassle. Kinda of a joke, this shroud that covers the chuck, who thought of that?
Excellent Drill February 18, 2008 Peter J. Vardy (Virginia, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
An excellent tool to be added to your tool box, but be careful with the switch when your adding & taking out drill bits while plugged in to the electric supply; it's very sensitive. The best recomendation I can give you; ALWAYS unplug it while changing bits.
Smoking foreign made garbage drill January 23, 2008 IngyHere (Pasadena, CA) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
This drill smoked up after about 2 hours of use on a house project. Milwaukee isn't what it used to be since the company got bought. They are importing cheap garbage from China and slapping their name on it. You might as well go buy a drill from Harbor Freight that proudly bears the "Made in China" nameplate for about 1/6 the price. It will burn out, but at least you can buy six of them for the price of one Milwaukee and not feel like you got ripped off.
AWESOME Drill! December 25, 2007 Tyler Worman (Allentown, PA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Yet another great milwaukee product. Got this drill a bit ago. Awesome tool really helps in tight places where the normal pistol grip just couldn't get to. Lots of torque and as always built extremely well. Definitely worth the price I know I can rely on it when I need it.
