Awesome drill. Batterys last a long time and charge in 15 minutes.
I bought this set for the impact driver. The ergonomic grip makes holding and using this drill very easy. Two of my friends borrowed this drill and then purchased one.

I am a 1st time home owner and a 1st time DIY'er. I had to install wall cabinets in the garage and with this kit, it was a piece of cake. As another reviewer said, I too will never drive wood screws with a drill again. The Impact Driver is just what I needed. Power in a really small package. The battery life is good too. I worked all day with the drill and impact driver on 1 recharge each.
The LED is also a nice touch and useful in dark corners. What's cool is that the led remains on for a few secs after the drill/driver has stopped and the recharge time is only 15 mins
The spotlight is a nice addition to the kit. A national retailer had the LCT200W (comes without the light) priced higher than this kit on amazon.
All in all, a great value for money.
Great drill - great price June 14, 2008
MN DIY'er
Bought this drill and couldn't be more happy with it! Battery lasts a long time, a lot of power (esp the Impact Driver), and the price was the best I could find. My last Makita drill was purchased 10 years ago - I'm only replacing because the old batteries don't hold a charge (and I really wanted an impact driver). It looks like I have another 10 good years ahead of me with this drill!

For anyone who has not yet used an impact driver to install or remove screws, you are in for a big surprise. You'll never go back to a standard cordless drill/screwgun. Having said that, it still useful to have a drill in your arsenal with a standard chuck. And at this price, the flashlite is virtually free. This is the best tool purchase I've made in years.

These tools are great, the only down side is this combo comes with only two batteries. You need at least two more to be ready for action at all times.
