Product Description 2.0 SCFM delivered @90 PSI pump, 2.0 gallon tank and 150 max PSI enables more nails to be fired and provides quicker recovery
Amazon.com We're big fans of products that come packaged with everything you need to get started, right out of the box, so of course, we were pleased to see DeWalt combining this great little compressor with two really nice nailers, the fittings and air hose. The compressor gives your great power with relatively low noise (about 80 decibels as opposed to most oil-free models, which hover around 90 decibels and above), oil-free (thus worry-free) maintenance and the ability to run both nailers at the same time. The gauges are all up-front, where we like them, and the unit itself is really light and comfortable to tote. Finally, we always prefer a ball valve like this one on the tank drain over a petcock, and our knuckles agree. Light as a feather and mean as a junkyard dog, DeWALT's 18-gauge brad nailer is a heck of a tool. We like the fit and feel of it, and DeWalt wins points from us for putting low-nail indicators on the side and the top of the magazine. The sliding depth adjustment is fantastic: just unlock it with your index finger, slide the adjustment with your other hand, and you're ready to fire. Like DeWalt's other nail guns, this model has a nice plus in the 360-degree swivel exhaust cap that directs the flow away from you. Great pad, too--it didn't mar anything to which we introduced it. Two things set the finish nailer apart from its classmates: the large nail capacity and the rear-loading magazine. The tool is light, comfortable, and sturdy, features DeWALT's ingenious tool-free jam-clearing mechanism, and offers a fantastic line of sight along with the same sliding depth adjustment, swivel exhaust and non-marring pad on the brad nailer. You can't beat this combo.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste What's in the Box 18-gauge Brad nailer, 16-gauge finish nailer, 2-gallon compressor, belt hook

DeWalt Combo Kit March 31, 2008 A. Dueser (Victoria, TX) Excellent combination of heavy-duty nailers and air compressor kit. Dependable equipment and can do the job fast and efficiently.
Great little set March 7, 2008 Michael R. Grooms (Salt Lake City, UT USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this set to finish putting up bead board and chair rail in my family room. Amazon had great shipping and everything arrived as stated. The guns performed well as did the tank. The tank is smaller than I expected and it had to recycle often to keep up even with a moderate amount of nailing. The tank is small and can be easily carried to whatever room or location you need to use it. I am planning to order a larger one for my shed where I can use bigger tools on it. It was a great value for the three items and I would purchase it again.
Might be great, but DOA January 28, 2008 rickirick (Chicago) 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
Unit arrived quickly. Got it all assembled and ready to test and discovered that the lever for the drain valve was broken off. I looked around some more and found the lever in the bottom of the packing container; the brass shaft was sheared off and can not be reconnected. While unpacking I noticed some things that made me wonder if someone else had returned the unit--that now seems likely. So now I am left with the options of trying to repack and return it to amazon or taking it to the nearest DeWalt repair center to be repaired. I hate the idea of keeping something that is defective from Day One, but the size of the box will make this a challenge to return. Any suggestions?
This is great!! December 13, 2007 M. Perronne (Cleveland, WI USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I recently purchased this item and am completely satisfied with its performance and value. This is my first experience with a nail gun and compressor set, and can only say I wish I would have bought it sooner. It works GREAT!!!!!!! I've done a fair amount of finish carpentry work in the past, and can really appreciate the time savings this unit provides. It's compact, easy to carry, and and lives up to the high standards that my other Dewalt tools have set.
Great starter combo kit November 13, 2007 Derrick Rocco (New York) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
What a great buy! I bounce from house to house installing windows and doors and this DeWalt Compressor has done it all from framing to finishing. Its easy to carry room to room and up and down stairs, definitely better than the Porter Cable pancake compessor. The two connections for separate hoses is great, especially when working with other people. The guns a very durable. I only wish the finish gun had the angled clip for tight spots like doing crown, but it still get the job done. No complaints about the brad gun. A must buy!
