Amazon.com Review This 18-volt cordless drill/driver from Bosch is lightweight and has a reduced profile that's designed to fit into tight spaces. Powerful, portable, and tough, this drill/driver is loaded with performance and convenience features that will make it a favorite in any workshop or on any job site. The 32618-2G offers variable speed operation via a soft-grip trigger, plus a soft-grip handle design for true control, comfort, and exceptional accuracy. It has a 15-position clutch, a ratcheting, single-sleeve 3/8-inch chuck for one-handed bit changes, and a high torque mode that gives you extra juice at 310 in./lbs. It also comes covered with a hardy DuraShield housing that's constructed to withstand real world abuse -- even high drops, accidental kicks, and rough transportation. Best of all, this model features Bluecore battery technology. Bosch's exclusive Bluecore cooling system keeps the batteries cooler, so they're more efficient and they last longer -- up to 50-percent longer. These batteries even have special sensors inside the batteries that communicate with their charger, so you'll enjoy extremely fast charging times. The 32618-2G has two speeds: 0 to 400 and 0 to 1,300 (no load), and a 3/8-inch chuck capacity. It includes two 2.0 amp Bluecore batteries, a 30-minute single bay charger, one double-ended bit, and a carrying case to keep it all organized. Applications: This drill/driver is perfect for most drilling or driving applications. It drills and drives in wood or other materials, depending on its bit, so it's great for construction sites or home work shops. It powers through woodworking projects and home improvement projects like furniture assembly, shelf installation, cabinet work, and almost anything else with ease. What's in the box: Bosch cordless drill/driver, two Bluecore batteries, 30-minute single bay charger, one double-ended bit, carrying case.

Almost Perfect December 2, 2008 A. Dresser (Arrowsic, ME USA) I've owned this drill for a couple of years and have had a good luck with it. The chuck works fine, it has good speed control, fine balance and excellent battery life with fast charges. I like the generously sized bit holder in the front. My only complaint is one of ergonomics. While using the drill it is very easy to turn the inner torque adjustment ring and the drill will slip when you don't want it too. I should be harder to move since you often hold the drill there when using two hands and it is very annoying when it moves.
Bosch stands out as always! November 23, 2008 Ivan Budilovsky Well balanced and powerful drillmotor. I have worked in construction field for 40 years and used many top brand cordless tools. This Bosch drill was still a pleasant surprise. Long lasting batteries store a lot of spunk and the cost of 2 of these with charger is close to [...]. So this package is priced very well!
Unacceptable battery performance September 25, 2008 T. Sullivan 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Have owned this drill for a couple of years and while it performed well in use, the batteries are the achilles heel of this drill. Almost immediately, one of the batteries started to underperform and within a year, I was essentially down to one battery. Despite careful charging, within a couple of years both batteries are shot from hobby / home use. Replacement batteries are more than the cost of the whole kit. Would recommend some of the new generation of lithium batteries over this clunker.
Drill/Driver Heaven September 13, 2008 Allartifacts (California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I replaced my ailing Dewalt with this Bosch and it is amazing how well it out-performs all other drill/drivers. It has great power and a good grip handle. The quality and design are unmistakeable as they provide ample ability to tackle any job. It's like drilling into butter.
Excellent August 23, 2008 Thomas D. Crewse (Lake Almanor, California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I couldn't be happier. It has the standard Bosch quality that I have come to expect. It is beefy, the battery charge lasts a long time, and it is even more powerful than I had hoped it would be. Also has a great carrying case (like all Bosch tools).
