The Milwaukee 18-Volt Cordless Li-Ion 1/2-Inch Drill comes with a convenient storage case and features a long-running Li-Ion rechargeable battery. A fuel gauge is also included that displays the battery's remaining run-time. The drill comes standard with an all-metal, single-sleeve, ratcheting chuck with carbide jaws to keep bits from falling out or slipping. A comfortable non-slip, soft-grip handle reduces vibration and fatigue, and the drill comes with a side handle for added drilling/driving stability. After 40 years of using power tools, I can say this is the best drill I've ever used. Even the heavy all-metal drills of the old days weren't the equal of this baby... It'll run hole saws, drive long deck screws and drill the toughest materials hour after hour without the slightest sign of strain. The trigger is smooth and the battery is a horse. If you're turning something large, you'd better hold on tight and stay ready to ease off the variable speed trigger, cause it ain't gonna bog down... I've used every major brand, and this one takes the prize. The only step up would be a Milwaukee with a cord, if you are always near an outlet.

This drill starts with the extremely solid feel that is Milwaukee's hallmark, and proceeds to add a bevy of thoughtfully-designed features, such as the slider that lets you switch from Drill to Driver mode without losing your current clutch setting.
