Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Product Description Designed to prevent dust that enters via the air intake vents from jeopardizing performance, the powerful and efficient D28114 from DEWALT is built to last. Thanks to a 13.0 amp, 2.3 HP, 11,000 RPM motor, this small angle grinder works quickly while preventing overload. Constantly losing your wrench after taking off wheels? You'll save time and stress thanks to the D28114's wheel release, which allows for fast changes without the need for additional tools. There's also a selection of special features to save you time and make working with this grinder more pleasant: an E-Clutch, Power-Off, and Power-Loss. And if vibrations make intense work hard on your body, you're sure to appreciate the two-position side handle.

Customer Reviews:
House Builder's Dream October 24, 2008 Garay D. Holland (Ozarks) My wife and I are building our own home (we are the total labor)and have completed all of the structure and are working on the interior finish and trim. It is a 5k sq ft project using a lot of concrete. We already have a 10amp version of this grinder that has seen hours of use cutting steel, concrete blocks, and 1/2" concrete board (Durock). It has performed very well without any problems. The only thing about the older grinder we had to watch was the air exhaust from the motor blows to the side and at times this is toward the user. When cutting concrete, the air can throw small grit toward the user. We are now cutting a 1/2" deep by 1" channel in concrete to hold shutter guides so we ordered the newer 13 amp model and were very pleased to see the exhaust port blow the air forward. It not only works great but with the higher amp motor and using a 4-1/2" diamond blade cuts faster than the older grinder. My wife also uses the smaller (10amp) grinder with a wood carver's blade for roughing our items she is carving and loves the way it handles. We could not have done the work we have done without this machine.
