 Avoid at all costs! October 12, 2008

Any serious buyer should avoid this unit at all costs. It ships with chrome sockets that will shatter, not impact grade moly. sockets that will twist when over torqued. You can get some *nasty* injuries using an impact with regular sockets when they let go and send shrapnel hurtling in every direction. I cannot believe anyone would be so irresponsible as to sell this. It may be an electric impact, but if the sockets are not true impact sockets, you are asking for serious injury by using them.
Buy a real impact wrench or at least buy some real impact sockets and throw these away. This is DANGEROUS and you should avoid buying this.

Excellent wrench, nice case. Used on car lug nuts. Had cheap 12 volt one from BJ's wholesale. It lasted a few years but was a junky toy compared to this.You get what you pay for $22.95 vs $59.95.

UPDATE 7-29-08
I changed my mind about this particular impact wrench. I loved it when it was working only used it maybe 10 times and it has already broken.
Bad switch design for the forward reverse...My reverse stopped working. Took it apart and it seems they use a very cheap switch design on this.
