Product Description These new 1-1/2 in. rotary hammers deliver outstanding drilling performance in a lightweight package. Milwaukee's patented vibration isolation system greatly reduces operator fatigue by absorbing the hammering action with floating handles. A soft-shift stop rotation knob permits the operator to smoothly change from hammer-with-rotation mode to the hammer-only mode. An 11.0 amp motor combined with an electronic feedback control circuit allows a full 6 inch thin wall Core Bit to be driven through 5000 PSI concrete without bogging down. The on-off switch is coupled with a speed dial so that the speed and blow energy can be correctly matched to the application or accessory. The bit locking system features one-handed click-in bit insertion. The Quik-Lok cord allows for fast twist-off, twist-on cord replacement. A pre-set clutch protects against sudden motor overloads. The service reminder light indicates when the carbon brushes will soon need to be replaced. This versatile tool can be used for drilling up to 1-1/2 inch holes in concrete with Spline Drive Bits, larger holes in concrete with Core Bits or the LHS system, or used for chipping, chiseling and demolition.

Hard working tool August 30, 2007 Dennis H. Gagnon (Epping, NH) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Another great milwaukee tool. I do alot of remodeling in older fine homes with masonry , stone , brick and ceramic tile and I find that with the proper bits the job gets done fast and easy.
RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS TOOL May 12, 2005 Ptrex (Cardiff, CA) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this tool three years ago and using it only occasionally have spent more on repairs than the tool cost in the first place. Don't waste your money like I did.
Milwaukee 5121-21 Rotary Hammer April 28, 2002 Brad Armstrong (Rochester Hills, MI) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This Rotary Hammer packs a lot of punch for the money. The 11 amp motor runs smoothly and makes easy work of drilling 1-1/8" holes in concrete. Insert a flat chisel and break through block, brick and concrete with ease. The detachable cord is a nice feature; if it gets damaged you can get a new one and plug it in, instead of having to open up the machine. The tools vibration dampening system works very well and reduces operator fatigue dramatically. After 100 hours of use a service light will come on, and you will have about 8 hours of use left before the tool shuts down, and the tool will need to be serviced by a Milwaukee service center. A rugged metal case rounds out the package on this affordable, durable, made in USA tool.
