 Spindle sander Accessory? May 13, 2008

I agree with the previous post, these items should have been included with the sander. Oh well, it isn't included and one day you will need them. Purchased mine about a year ago along with the sander. I Love the sander by the way. So I go to the drawer where the smaller drums are stored, open the package and was imediately ticked. There is no sanding sleeves included. Lot of money for rubber as stated before me. Other than the money and the grief of finding sleeves, what can be said? The drums work just fine.

The product is exactly as described. There are three rubber drum, 3 throat plates, and 2 additional washers for the smaller drums. The picture shows a fourth drum, the one on the left, that comes with the tool itself, not this accessory pack.
While the largest drum that comes with the tool may be the most commonly used, I found numerous times when it was too big to fit into a tighter radius. These smaller drums solve that problem.
Thirty-four bucks for 3 chunks of rubber and something that should have come with the tool in the first place is silly. Still, it makes the tool more useful so in that regard, it's worth it.

In the 12100P Drum and Spacer Kit - Is the 2" diameter rubber spindle also included? Your price $$$
