The first thing you notice when removing this from the box is "This thing is really built well!" It is solid, heavy in the hand (all metal), precise and engineered very nicely where the parts work fluently together and are put together with some very neat features.
That's a mouthful for just a little sander, and I would say I am not easily impressed. It is kind of like opening a Bench Dog router table, the quality of the product is apparent right when the box is opened.
I have found this tool very useful during tons of everyday tasks as well as projects Im working on. It cn get in little spots and tight spots due to it's belt mechanism being totally adjustable, and when it gets in there you can crank it up and tear through some tough junk or tone it down with a finer grit and do some detail work. Very versitile.
Great little sander January 21, 2008

This sander does what you would expect for a 3/8" sander. Belts are easy to change. Great for sanding in tight spots, for smoothing welds, or anything you cant use a larger belt for. I have had no problems with mine so far.
