5 out of 5 stars Satisfied and a good price ($35 for me)   January 5, 2009
Allan Ray Miller
Great design. Wide-range variable heat dial, and it really does go from slightly lukewarm to as hot as you'd want from a heat gun. Lots of accessories although I've only used a couple of them. It stands up on its end nicely too so that when the job is complete you can let it cool off without the tip touching anything before you put it back into the case.

I paid $34.99 for mine however I notice the price has gone up since then. So I might like it better than some considering a purchase now. But, price aside, it is great tool.

4 out of 5 stars Good for the Price   September 30, 2008

Price is very attractive when compared to similar heat guns. Product works well and comes with useful accessories. Some parts look a little cheap, but considering the price of this unit you can't complain.

1 out of 5 stars Cheap build and non performing   September 24, 2008

This heat gun failed to help me remove a thick layer of plasticized paint.

The unit is built very cheaply, and the so called accessories look more like toys, than tools: made up of very thin tin.

I would not buy this product again.

This heat gun worked great for removing 5 layers of paint from the kitchen cabinets. Great buy for the price. Much cheaper than buying the paint stripper.

5 out of 5 stars Light weight gun gets the job done.   August 16, 2008

Only used it once since I bought it to remove some old political bumper stickers from my car. It did a great job of softening the adhesive so I was able to remove the stickers in one piece. The gun was a lot lighter than I expected.
