Amazon.com Product Description Great for thawing frozen pipes and gutters, waxing skis, defrosting the freezer and more, this heat gun is great to have on hand for home improvement, maintenance, and emergencies. The first digital heat gun designed for do-it-yourselfers, twelve distinct temperature settings from 250 to 1,350 degrees F take the work out of a wide variety of tasks, from removing flooring to stripping paint to thins as simple as sealing frayed ends of nylon rope. Touch-pads with LED indicators let you select the right temperature for any application, from heating window shrink coverage for easy weatherproofing, to loosening rusted nuts and bolts on bikes and plumbing. No more waiting for the gun to cool after you're done; this 1,500-watt tool features an air-only setting that cools the element. The gun then turns itself off gun automatically, freeing you up for other work. --Brian D. Olson

Better than I expected August 5, 2008 Barry Boyer (Concord, North Carolina United States) I was looking for the highest heat settings that I could find. This one seemed to fit the bill. It was less money than I expected to pay so I was hesitant to purchase it. I am really glad I did. The heat selections are great. I now know exactly what temp I need to remove latex paint, and I can return to that setting time and again. It also will continue running in the cool mode until the gun it cool enough to turn itself off. I am happy with my purchase and only wish that it came with attachments.
wagner heat gun May 23, 2008 Fred Bawana Best gun I have used as far a s features go. If it does not burn out to fast, and I will not know that until a few years down the road, I would highly recomend it.
Good Heat Gun July 3, 2007 Howard S. Robins (Waterbury, CT United States) The HT3500 works as advertised. Did a nice job shrinking tubing on my antenna project.
Good bare bones adjustable heatgun June 29, 2007 William Smittle (Oklahoma) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
You get nothing but the gun in a box, there is no case, no nozzles, no packing. Mine arrived with the box 'form fitted' around the gun. Thanks UPS. Still it seems to be a tough gun, it works and looks fine. My IR thermometer says the cooler settings are within 10-15% of stated temp, I have nothing to measure the hotter settings with. Air volume wise, it puts out less than a typical hair dryer. But that is probably a good thing for it's intended uses. 4 stars for no nozzles. It's like, a whole dollar's worth of metal and mfg cost, and we gota buy a kit instead? Nozzle kit P/N (wagner) 0503148. Eighteen dollars with shipping to Oklahoma. There is no case available.
