Product Description These rugged, autoranging meters measure AC amps up to 1000A, AC/DC volts, ohms, and continuity with handy display hold to keep measurements on the display. New microprocessor technology improves low current measurement accuracy. Slim, easy-to-grip body fits comfortably in your hand. Narrow jaws easily squeeze in and out of the tight spots. Meter controls are positioned so current measurements can be done with one hand (index finger on clamp opening lever and thumb on rotary switch). Auto shut-off maximizes battery life and makes sure the meter works when you need it. Five models to choose from. Model 333 measures AC current up to 400A. Model 334 measures AC current up to 600A. It's large, backlit display makes measurements easy to see in any light. In-rush current function measures starting current for motors, lighting, etc. and helps troubleshoot current surges that can trip motor starters. Model 335 is the same as Model 334, but with true-RMS AC measurement. Model 336 adds DC current measurement. Top-of-the-line Model 337 is a true-RMS clamp meter which measures AC/DC current and voltage, resistance, continuity, frequency, and motor start-up current (in-rush). It features display hold, min/max capability, and backlit display. All models come with TL75 test leads, (2) AA batteries, and soft carrying case.

Its an OK meter September 17, 2006 Cornytheclown (sitting at my desk) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Using my trusty older Fluke 30 at work I was adjusting a sheave on a large motor and the meter went out on overload ...my trusty fluke 30 said the amp draw was ok but the motor overheating and going out on overload said something different...lol Anyhow... next morning I went back with my older fluke 36 and the motor was indeed pulling too many amps...readjusted the sheave and all was fine.... checking my old fluke 30 against my old fluke 36 I found the 30 to be reading about 4-6 amps low over the amp range of 10-30 amps.... Dont want to use my old fluke 36 at work cause Ive had it so long and decided to try the 334 because its sort of a mid range fluke...not a cheapy but not quite the meter the 336 or 337 is... Its cheaply built in my opinion...less quality than the older fluke clamps but thats to be expected in todays cut throat world where quality and pride in workmanship has dissappeared. Its an OK meter.... I could have gotten by with a cheaper Fluke but I could afford this one for everyday use and its what I bought. Meter came with the cheapest set of test leads fluke has...but they are ok. I replaced mine with a better set... and it also comes with a soft shell case....and its ok too. Cant go wrong with fluke but like I said previously even their quality has gone down....
